Parkside's men's group and the apron and stitches group met Monday to work on craft projects for the county fair.

Care Plans were Tuesday morning. Helen Masterson and Dave Classen were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers. LeOra Grunau brought the morning organ concert. The Gospel Messengers brought the evening program.

The audiologist checked hearing aids at noon. John Ratzlaff led the Wednesday Bible class. Chocolate was the Ice Cream Day flavor.

Vida Bartel played the piano for the Thursday hymn sing. Mabel Suderman gave the devotional. A wedding party was held Thursday afternoon. Beverly Harms helped serve cake and punch. Celia Gross brought the afternoon organ concert.

Friday morning, residents took a bus ride to view the 2002 harvest in action. The bread of the day was sweet potato maple. Parkside's weekend quiz was given out on Friday. Helen Klassen was the blackout winner of the bingo games called by Mariann Unruh and helper Mabel Klassen.

Popcorn was served Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning Kaethe Warkentin continued a study on "The Prayer of Jabez" during the weekly Sunday school lesson. The St. John Lutheran Church of Tampa was in charge of the afternoon worship service with Fran Rempel serving as hostess.

Exercises and Kaffee Haus were daily, and the week's topic of the Genesis Club was hot and cold. The Read the Bible Through in 2002 group is reading in the book of Job this week.
