Parkside Homes: Seibel speaks about Haiti trip

Clint Seibel gave a report of the Haiti mission trip with Tabor college students last January. Great slide pictures were shown.
Esther Ollenburger, Merle Friesen, and Art Wiebe were the winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon. Refreshments were served. The Herington trio's Band of Ahs gave the evening program.
The Wednesday news review was read by Theresa Cady before lunch. John Savoia led the afternoon Bible class, speaking on God's living word and its power to change lives. Vanilla ice cream was served.
Helen Schmidt and Karla Koslowsky led the hymn sing Thursday morning. Dave Clark sang folk songs at the afternoon birthday party. Connee Willis accompanied him at the piano. Celia Gross gave the afternoon organ concert.
Friday's bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. All players received a banana for participating. Mabel Klassen was the blackout winner. Party mix was served. The weekend quiz was delivered.
Theater popped corn was served Saturday afternoon. The Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church gave the Sunday worship service.
