Parkside Homes: Seibel voted 'Resident of the Month'

The Resident Council met on Monday afternoon and enjoyed ice cream during their meeting. Helen Seibel was voted the Resident of the Month for September.

Care plans were Tuesday morning. LeOra Grunau gave a morning organ concert. Frank Peters, Ben Ewert, Helen Loewen and Eva Tessman were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers.

Roy Keller spoke on "Remember Our First Love" at the Wednesday Bible Class. Vanilla was the Ice Cream Day flavor. Helen Schmidt led the Thursday morning hymn sing with Carla Koslowsky accompanying at the piano. Mabel Suderman gave the devotional. Ben Wiens gave the program on "Heritage in Glass." Beverly Harms helped serve refreshments. Celia Gross played the 5 o'clock organ concert.

The week-end quiz was handed out Friday afternoon. Harry Thye was the blackout winner of the bingo games called by Mariann Unruh.

Saturday afternoon popcorn was served, and the Alexanderfeld Church gave the afternoon worship service with Leann Penner serving as hostess.

Exercises and kaffee haus were daily. The Read The Bible Through In 2002 group is reading in the book of Jeremiah this week.
