Residents gathered July 3 for the monthly resident council meeting. Training began for staff to serve breakfast in the households. Each hall had a morning of training and residents received made-to-order breakfasts.
Pastor Roy Keller presented the Wednesday Bible class after lunch. Chocolate ice cream was served.
Staff and residents honored Shirley Hein Thursday afternoon for her many years of dedicated service as dietary director. Shirley has moved to Nebraska to retire. We all will miss the things she made special for each of us, and of course her wonderful cinnamon rolls.
Weekly bingo games were played Friday. Everyone received a banana after the games.
