Parkside Homes: Staff, residents enjoy barbecue after survey

The memorial service for Dan Foth was held Monday morning. Residents watched the video "Remember When" in the afternoon.
Care plans were Tuesday morning. Cora Meljo, Eva Tessman, and Dave Classen were the winners of the domino games played with volunteers in the afternoon.
John Ratzlaff led the Wednesday Bible class. Chocolate ice cream was served after Bible class.
Peggy Brandt with Carla Koslowsky led Thursday's hymn sing. Gordon Hiebert, a local craft artist, showed some of his craft pieces and told of their history in the afternoon. Helen Schmidt was the hostess for the evening program given by Morning Star Church.
On Friday, a barbecue lunch was held for residents and staff to celebrate the completion of our annual state survey. Marie Wiens was the blackout winner of the bingo games called by Maryann Unruh. The weekend quiz was handed out Friday afternoon.
Saturday afternoon popcorn was served. Glen and Susie Kliewer led the Sunday school class on Sunday morning.
Exercise with Teresa and Kaffee Haus were daily. The Read the Bible Through in 2002 group is reading the book of Acts this week.
