Parkside White Hat Club and Red Hat Club met in the morning. The men personalized their hats as the ladies sipped tea and shared Thanksgiving memories.
Cathy Fish brought stories Monday afternoon that reminded us of past family events. Our friends at Congregate enjoyed the annual Thanksgiving meal at noon and the featured film that evening was "The Walton's Thanksgiving."
A large group enjoyed music appreciation Tuesday morning with Dave Clark. Weekly domino games were played in the afternoon. We enjoyed an inspirational program Tuesday evening by the Gospel Messengers.
Once again we enjoyed the smell and taste Wednesday morning of freshly made donut holes as we read the weekly newspapers. A time of memorial memories for Goldie Funk was held before the afternoon Bible class with John Savoia. Ice cream was served after class.
We gathered together Thursday morning and enjoyed Thanksgiving and sharing. At noon we shared a traditional Thanksgiving feast. "The Walton's Thanksgiving" video was the afternoon event. Many residents enjoyed visits from family and friends.
We at Parkside are thankful for each of you who take time to visit us. We are thankful for the music you bring and the love you share. This surely is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad and thankful.
