Parkside Homes: White Hat Club meets, discusses favorite cars

Men's White Hat Club met Monday and discussed their favorite cars. Each received a picture of the model car they had previously owned.
The Red Hat Society met in the afternoon to receive their red hats. They spent time choosing and decorating the hats in a lavish manner, nothing was spared, purple feathers, flowers, ribbon, and lace were used to adorn the red hats. All will be quite chic when strolling the streets of Hillsboro.
A large group enjoyed a music appreciation class Tuesday morning.
Parkside dominoes group played a number of games during the late afternoon. Cookies and coffee were enjoyed.
The Gospel Messengers brought gospel music to a large group of listeners Tuesday evening.
The smell and taste of freshly made donut holes were enjoyed Wednesday morning as the weekly newspapers were read. Pastor Roy Keller led the afternoon Bible class. Peach ice cream was the treat of the afternoon.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month. We invited all the local pastors Thursday to a pie and coffee social. Residents enjoyed visiting with the pastors and thanking them for their special care of us at Parkside Homes.
Gene Magnuson taught morning Sunday school class. Steve and Janice Fast brought the afternoon worship service.
