The Parkside Homes Resident Council met Monday afternoon and discussed subjects of concern and praise. Lu Janzen spoke to the council about the recent state survey. The council reviewed the actions that were taken regarding the concerns brought to the council last month.
Kaethe Warkentin, Jo Thye, and Herb Unruh were the winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon.
Stephen Humber taught the Bible class on Wednesday. Chocolate ice cream was served after the service.
Thursday afternoon, Parkside held the annual apple auction. Shirley Hein served delicious fresh apple bread for the afternoon refreshments.
The Friday afternoon bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. Elsie Nickel was the blackout winner. All players received a banana for participating. The weekend quiz was delivered.
Theater popped corn was served Saturday afternoon, and Dave Hunter brought the Sunday afternoon devotional.
