The Parkside family gathered on Monday afternoon to celebrate with those who have birthdays in November. The theme of the party was "Teddy Bear Picnic." After enjoying cranberry raisin cupcakes decorated with small bear cookies, we took a trip to the Grand Canyon, by video, and were able to enjoy a mule trip into the canyon.

Kaethe Warkentin, Dave Classen and Frank Peters were the winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon.

John Savoia taught the Bible class on Wednesday. Chocolate ice cream was served after the service.

Thursday morning we enjoyed singing some old favorite hymns together. Carla Koslowsky played the piano for the hymn sing.

Our holiday season began with the peppernut bake. We are so grateful that Carla Koslowsky donates time and supplies for this project. We share this holiday project with students from the middle school.

The Friday afternoon bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. Irma Ens was the blackout winner. All players received a banana for participating. The weekend quiz was delivered.

Theater popped corn was served Saturday afternoon, and Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
