This past Tuesday we had a nice turnout for our weekly domino game, with coffee and snacks provided. Come join us at 3 p.m. Tuesdays if you would like to play.
Wednesday morning we enjoyed the smell of fresh frying donut holes, and visited while they were cooking.
Later we met for a memorial moment and remembered the life of Helen Loewen.
Students from the Hillsboro school district visited with residents and played Bingo Wednesday afternoon.
The Wednesday Bible class met in Park Home 500 this week. We continue to enjoy the informal atmosphere of our homes. John Savoia, our study leader for October, spoke on practical faith. While enjoying ice cream, we had a good discussion about heaven.
Steve Millett and his dog Bo paid us a visit Wednesday evening.
Thursday morning we gathered for a hymn sing in the main building. George Ens visited us and played his harmonica in the afternoon. There was a time of reminiscing with music in each house.
Friday we played Bingo. We appreciate Mariann Unruh calling the game for us each week.
