Parkside: Staff celebrates 750,000 hours of safety years ago

The Wednesday Bible Class met in Park Home 400 this week. We are enjoying the informal atmosphere of our homes. John Savoia, our study leader for October, spoke on prayer this week. Ice cream was served after the meeting.
Thursday morning Joel and Cindy Groening spoke to a group of residents about mission work in the Philippines. The Morning Star Church gave the evening program. Both of these programs were people serving God. You, too, can be a part of this service.
Dave Classen, Verna Funk, Vida Bartel, and Peggy Brandt attended the Marion County Dept. for the Elderly's 46th annual meeting and lunch held at the Hillsboro Sr. Center.
Parkside held a Safety Celebration on Friday to celebrate reaching our goal of 750,000 hours of accident-free work. A lunch was provided for the staff, with fun, drawings and give-aways to remind the staff to keep working safely.
