Paul and Ruth Epp to celebrate 65th wedding anniversary years ago
Paul and Ruth Epp of North Newton will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 14 with an open house at Kidron Bethel community room, 500 Bluestem, North Newton. Friends and family are invited.
Paul Epp and Ruth Schmidt were married Nov, 9, 1939, at Tabor Mennonite Church. Since their marriage, they have farmed near Hillsboro and near Newton.
Their children are Verda and Geoffrey Deckert of Newton and Weldon and Bonnie Epp of rural Newton. They have five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
