PBHS forensics squad competes at regionals
Peabody-Burns High School forensics squad competed in the regional meet April 22 at Circle High School, Towanda.
Eight students received I ratings and will advance May 6 to state forensics competition. They are Ethan Riggs, prose interpretation; Becky Morris, serious solo acting; Charlie Rippe, humorous solo acting; Dane Lau, Seth Methvin, informative speaking; Jessica Rosine/Seth Methvin, improvised duet acting; Jesse Riggs/Ethan Riggs, duet acting.
Those who received II ratings included Tabitha Carrell, poetry interpretation; Hollee Reynolds, humorous solo acting; Charlie Rippe/Hollee Reynolds, Jessica Rosine/Becky Morris, duet acting; and Grant Buller, serious solo.
Those receiving III ratings were Grant Buller/Alex Holm-McDowell, duet acting; Tabitha Carrell, humorous solo acting; and Oliver Whitney/Dane Lau, improvised duet acting.
Anna Zappone, who qualified in humorous solo acting and Ruth McLeod, who qualified in serious solo acting at earlier tournaments also will compete in the state competition at Andale and Wichita.
