Peachey opens consulting business
Lowell Peachey's mission is simple: help people solve their problems.
To do that, he's started his own consulting business, "Peachey Leadership Solutions Group." His office is located on the east side of the Hillsboro State Bank building.
Peachey hopes to use his years in the business industry to assist small to mid-size businesses in the area. But he'll help any size of business, he said.
For the past 20 years, Peachey has been working for banks. He's spent the last nine years working at the Roxbury Bank, he said.
Opening his own consulting business is something Peachey has considered for some time. This January, he made that dream a reality.
"The timing just seemed to be right," he said.
Peachey says his background is in small to mid — size businesses, and that's what he's comfortable with. These types of businesses are many times owned by families, and that can present unique problems not seen by bigger companies.
Coming from an outsider's point of view, Peachey can offer another perspective on a problem, he said. His services range from advising company CEO and boards to staffing and financial issues.
Peachey also offers a loan-finding service that can find borrowers the terms and interest rates that they're seeking.
The company will also offer financial and leadership seminars — last fall, Peachey headed a seminar near Niagara Falls dealing with the Christian's response to financial adversity.
And if Peachey doesn't have the answer, he has plenty of contacts who will. He plans to rely on his extensive list of contacts he's built up over the years, steering people to the right resources, he said.
In addition to his consulting services, Peachey is also a regional manager for Pilot Financial, a Wichita-based financial company that specializes in mortgages.
