Pearl Koch celebrates birthday with family

Pearl Koch's family brought Saturday evening dinner and homemade ice cream to celebrate her birthday. Family present were Wayne and Veronica Koch and Kimberly from Wichita, Carrol and Carolyn Koch of Emporia, Gordon and Judy Hiebert of Hillsboro, Tom and Glenda Fleener, Zack and Megan from El Dorado, Fred and Ashley Sheridan from Lehigh, and Andrew and Robyn Naese from Bolivar, Mo.

Tyler Weinbrenner from Mid-American Nazarene College in Olathe was home over the weekend with his parents and family, the Doug Weinbrenners.

Emily Diener spent the fall break from Kansas State University in Manhattan with her parents, Tim and Donna Diener.

On Monday, Tim, Emily, and Marissa Diener were dinner guests of the Paul Pankratzes.

Saturday evening guests at the home of Elma Warkentin were Marlene Froese from Phoenix, Ariz., Deloras Goertzen from Henderson, Neb., Bob and Coleen Warkentin from Salina, and Ron Warkentin of Hillsboro.

Alma and Clara Toews were supper guests Tuesday evening at the home of Marvin and Pearl Ensz in Hillsboro. The Enszes have recently moved to Hillsboro from the farm southeast of Hillsboro. Additional guests were Kala Becker, Anette Unruh, Vera Ensz, and Carol Ensz.

Weekend guests of Bonnie Fast were her family Neva Fast from North Ridge, Calif., and Galen and Rachel Fast from Denver, Colo. They came especially for Tabor's homecoming activities.

On Thursday, Jay and Luella Burkhart from Newton visited with the Paul Pankratzes after the Clarence Seibel funeral.

Duane and Shirley Hamm and her sister, Norma Ballard, of Topeka attended the 41st Carlow reunion at Hazelton, Saturday, Oct. 9. There were seven brothers and sisters of Shirley's family attending the reunion.

The Hamms attended their cousin's, Glendon Martin, memorial service at the Methodist Church in Attica.
