Pensabene, Alamia to marry
Nicole Pensabene and George Alamia of Holbrook, N.Y., announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding with a semi-formal affair Nov. 9, 2002, at the VFW Post #9486 at Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Paul and Patti Pensabene, Holbrook, and granddaughter of Peggy Thies of Salina, and the late Dr. W.M. Thies.
The bride-elect graduated from Sachem High School in 1993 and earned her bachelor of science degree from University of Rhode Island in 1998. She teaches third grade at Copianque Long Island New York district.
The groom-to-be, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignazio Alamia, Holbrook, also graduated from Sachem High School in 1994 and in 1999 from State University of N.Y. at Brockport. He is currently teaching physical education in the Smith Town, N.Y., school district.
The couple plans to be married Aug. 1, 2003, at the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Port-Jefferson, N.Y.
