Petersen signs to play Tabor basketball
Micca Petersen, Clearwater, has signed a letter of intent to participate in the women's basketball program at Tabor College, according to head coach Rusty Allen.
The 5'9" forward/center was a letter winner at Clearwater High School. Her team finished 7-13 on the season in class 4A.
"Micca is a smart player who positions herself well and rebounds well," Allen said. "She is a very hard worker and will have a lot to offer Tabor College. We are excited to have her joining us."
Petersen was also a member of the National Honor Roll and was named to her high school's honor roll four years.
She is the daughter of Michael Petersen and Christy Petersen, Clearwater.
