Quilts will be on display at museum
Mennonite Heritage Museum of Goessel will feature a quilt trunk show.
Items created by Wilma Schmidt of rural Walton will be on display during the months of September and October at the museum.
Displays will include quilts and wall hangings. One quilt features 12 different Kansas wildflowers in baskets and was featured in the first Kansas Quilt Shops Hop several years ago.
The display will be available during regular museum hours. During September, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 12 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The hours are the same for October except the museum closes at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission is $3 per adult.
