Raymond Frey
Raymond E. Frey, 81, died Nov. 17, 2007, at Bethesda Home, Goessel.
The son of Edward and Augusta (Neufeld) Frey, he was born Oct. 23, 1926, at Newton.
He was an educator and administrator. He was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel.
On May 19, 1949, he married LuEtta June Schmidt at Goessel.
Survivors include his wife, LuEtta of Goessel; son, Sherwin Frey of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Marcene Entz of rural Newton and Melissa Beitler of Berne, Ind.; brother, Marlin Frey of Newton; two sisters, Earla Critchfield of Hesston and Nila Chambers of Wichita; stepmother, Adelia Frey of Newton; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday morning at Tabor Mennonite Church with Pastor Corey Miller and Pastor Karen Andres officiating. Burial was in Tabor Mennonite Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the Mennonite Central Committee.
