Recirculated wisdom for graduates
Graduation Day!
It fills the heart with mixed feelings — fulfillment and sadness, anxiety and eagerness.
Young people say goodbye to the comfortable and secure life within the high school walls or college campus. It's time to move on to college, or to get in step with the fast-pace beat of the business world.
Uncertainty about the future looms large over new graduates as they hang up their caps and gowns, and spread their wings.
Everyone knows a fresh graduate needs oodles of advice and inspiration. Graduation speakers have plenty of things to say. So do the saccharine sentiments of graduation cards.
Instead of piling on with platitudes of our own, we offer the following variously illuminating thoughts from brighter minds than ours.
Hopefully this re-circulated wisdom will provide graduates some direction, guidance, and a few chuckles along the way.
Congratulations!
