Residents have arts and crafts visitors

Bill and Betty Meier, Duwane and Jane Miller, Pearl and Duane and Shirley Hamm were among others from Hillsboro who attended the open house for Imo Klinkerman's 90th birthday on Sunday at McPherson.

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Oblander spent last weekend at Greeley, Colo., visiting their son, Gene Oblander, Julie and April.

Shirley Lewis and several friends from Wichita visited Shirley's mother, Bernice McDowell, and attended the arts and crafts fair on Saturday.

Pat and Gilliam Kew from England are spending a month in this area and are house guests of their aunt Pauline Winter in Hillsboro. They came in September so they could attend the arts and crafts fair. They also are visiting other family and friends in the area.

Mrs. Carol Koch of Emporia and Trey and Brennan Irey from Melvern were overnight guests of Pearl Koch on Friday.

Pearl Koch attended the funeral services for her cousin, Betty Bolton, at Wichita on Saturday.

Althea Zimmerman from Weaubleau, Mo., and two of her daughters, Dianne Dollar from West Monroe, La., and Beth Platt form Highlandsville, Mo., were house guests at the Paul Pankratzes from Friday evening to Sunday morning. They also visited Mollie Zimmerman, Hannah Ollenburger, and Dean and Edie Ollenburger. Additional Saturday evening guests were Duwane and Jane Miller. The Zimmermans came to Hillsboro especially to go to the arts and crafts fair.
