Residents have family night at Moundridge Manor

Some of those that went to Moundridge Manor to be their guests for a family night program and hamburger fry were Ken and Sandy Wiebe, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Richard and Charlotte Wiebe, Roy and Nadine Davis, Wendell and Linda Wedel, and Larry and Wanda Koehn. A group of men from Morning Star Church sang several songs for the large group that was in attendance and had residnts there.

Linda Wedel went to Burns Café on Monday where she met her sisters to plan an upcoming special birthday for their mother.

Guests for Sunday dinner at the Ken Wiebe home were Doyle and Kara Wiebe and family.

The Clayton Wiebe family got together on Tuesday evening at the Wiebe home to help Clayton celebrate his birthday.

Mike and Mich Rhodes invited Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Mark and Kris Wiebe and family for Sunday dinner.

Sunday evening, Howard and Charlene Becker gave a report on Bangladesh where they spent some time recently. Later, they were guests for refreshments at the Ransom Wiebe home.

Larry and Wanda Koehn entertained Bruce and Cheryl Dirks, Heath and Bethany, Marylyn, Karlyn, and Arlyn Wiebe, the teachers, Lydia Strunk, Denise Entz, and Amy Koehn with Sunday dinner. Other guests were Kendra Smith and Carla Miller of Versailles, Mo., friends of Lydia who were visiting her for the weekend.

On Friday, Don and Marlene Sattlefield of Shawnee came to visit Marcella Unruh. They were her Friday and Saturday overnight guests and helped her celebrate her recent birthday. On Saturday, they enjoyed the day shopping in Salina. Don and Marlene returned to heir home on Sunday.

MCSEC board to meet

Marion County Special Education Cooperative Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. Monday for its monthly meeting in the conference room at the cooperative office, 302 West Eighth, in Florence.
