Richard Swan
\Richard L. Swan, 32, of Florence, died Sept. 29, 2002, near Cassoday as a result of an automobile accident.
Born April 11, 1970, in El Dorado, he was the son of Billy Bob and Myrtle (Wehry) Swan.
He was a welder at Agco Corp in Hesston. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Handyman Club of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He also participated in Demolition Derbys.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include a daughter, Brittany Sue Swan of Florence; his mother, Myrtle Swan of Florence; brothers, Larry Swan of Toronto and Paul Swan of Towanda; and sisters, Rosetta Talkington of Burns and Carol Swan of Arlington.
Services were held Oct. 2 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence. Burial was at Burns Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Florence Ambulance Service.
