Robber strikes county bank
Pilsen State Bank at Lincolnville was held up by an unidentified and armed robber at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday.
First reports said the robber was a white man wearing a green hooded jacket and a red stocking cap who drove a white car north to 320th Street, then west to Timber and eventually south on Sunflower to Marion. Those rumors are not official, however.
Wednesday afternoon found a wide array of officers continuing the search, following up on more rumors, and combing the area for a suspect.
Bank officials would not comment on the crime, and sheriff's officials would not release information.
