Robert Cabeen
Robert E. Cabeen, 69, of Hillsboro died Jan. 30, 2002, in his residence in Hillsboro.
Born March 21, 1932, in Leon, he was the son of Edwin and Ione (Lindsey) Cabeen. On June 27, 1964, he married Norma Pickrell in Leon. She survives of Hillsboro.
He was an insurance agent. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
Survivors include his wife; daughters Kristine Wilson of Parker, Ariz., Michelle Scherr of Broomfield, Colo., and Carole Davies of Marion; brother Gary Cabeen of Missouri City, Texas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Feb. 4 at the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro with Rev. R. Laney Kuhn officiating. Burial of the cremains was at Leon Cemetery in Leon.
Memorials have been established with Kansas Heart Hospital and Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
