The Jost family had a New Year's gathering. Family there were Jerry and Joan Jost and their family, Lowell and Eleanor Jost and family, and Twila Siebert and daughters from Garden City.
Keith Hanneman from Lancaster, Pa., spent several weeks over the holidays visiting his parents, Wilbur and Mildred Hanneman, and other family in the area and Wichita and Kansas City.
On Saturday Tena Pankratz's family joined her for a birthday dinner at Parkside Homes. Family there were Eleanor Jost, Carla Koslowsky, Mary Seibel, Pete and Leona Koslowsky all of Hillsboro; Harry and Janice Willems from Iola; Jake and Darlene Koslowsky from Newton; and Theadore Koslowsky of Marion.
Deliah Deckert returned home from San Jose, Calif., last week where she spent some time with her son Marlin and wife Annie Deckert and their family.
On Saturday Virgil and Jean Oblander visited their uncle Wilbur Schroeder in Emporia. Jean's sister Georgie Medley from Missouri met them in Emporia where she also visited their uncle.
The Gus Hamms of Tampa, the Gaylord Hamms of Durham, and the Paul Pankratzes of Hillsboro took supper to the Oliver Mohns on Monday evening to celebrate the January birthday of both Marcella and Oliver.
Karen Haug and Ryan from Jetmore were weekend guests at the Oliver Mohns. Additional Sunday supper guests were Russel Haug and Kara Bartell from Hesston.
