Bill and Betty Meier attended a lamp lighting service at Bethel College Sunday afternoon in which their granddaughter, Laura Towe was a participant. Laura is a nursing student at Bethel.

Paul and Chrystal Aimsworth, Alex and Paul of Rogers, Ark., were Sunday dinner guests at the home of the Oliver Unruhs.

Sunday dinner guests at the Orvil Sudermans were Dale and Kay Klassen and family, Dean and Amy Suderman and family, and Justin and Gail Dyck and family, all of Hillsboro.

Justin Mohn and Erin Cameron of Boston, Mass., were weekend guests at the Oliver Mohn home. Additional Sunday dinner guests were Justin and Jenny McKnight of Salina, Jason and Rachel Mohn and family, and Gordon and Vicky Mohn.

Marissa Diener from K-State spent the weekend with her parents, Tim and Donna Diener. She visited her grandparents, Paul and Arlene Pankratz, Friday evening.

Ima Elwell of Inman visited her sister, Darlene Schmidt and Malvin on Monday. While there Ima and Darlene visited Wilma Schmidt and Lucretia Vance.

The Alexanderfeld Church of God in Christ met for their day of sewing Tuesday. They knotted comforters for an orphanage in Zimbabwe, Africa. They also made comforters for a men's drug rehabilitation center in Mexico. Layette bundles also were made for babies who have no clothing. Project Linus is done by the youth girls. Their blankets also are knotted and sent to "hurting" children. These blankets are child-size. A potato bar was enjoyed for lunch.
