Leonard and Hazel Hein hosted a dinner Sunday to honor those in the family with January and February birthdays. Those attending were Kevan and Vicki Hein and John of Durham, Todd and Jayleen Hein and Andrew of Tampa, Tony and Brandi Hein, Henry and Grace of Newton, and Monica Hein of Lawrence.

Saturday luncheon guests at the Willis Penners were their daughters and some grandchildren, Sheri Leppke of McPherson, Pam Perry of Hillsboro, and Debbie Goossen of Nebraska.

Ruth VanderWilt's family took her on a Bill Gaither cruise to celebrate her birthday. Those accompanying her were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ebbers of Seattle, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Charles VanderWilt of Sandy, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Philip VanderWilt of California, and Dr. R.J. Tippin of Elbing.

Irene Seibel recently attended weddings for two of her grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Rachel Seibel married David Ashbury. Rachel is the daughter of John and Connie Seibel of Atlanta, Ga. Her grandson, David Kilpatrick married Kelly Porter. He is the son of LaVella Kilpatrick of Belton, Mo., and Paul Kilpatrick of Altanta, Ga.

John Moffitt of Texas and Frank and Jan Moffitt of Hillsboro were Sunday afternoon visitors of the Duane Hamms.

Dave and Shirley Weibert spent two and one-half weeks in California visiting Dave's brother, Edwin Weibert and some nephews at Clovis, Calif., and Shirley's brother, Don Bender at Huntington Beach.
