The Searchers Sunday school class of the Hillsboro MB Church had a tea party at the home of Harriet Suderman to celebrate the birthday of Celia Gross. Twenty women attended.
Celia Gross was dinner guest at the home of Marlin and Lu Janzen to celebrate Easter and birthdays. Other guests were Mark and Betsy Janzen and family of Lindsborg and Glenn and Mayra Wiebe and family and Glenn and Donna Thiessen and family, all of Hillsboro. They celebrated the birthdays of Celia, Mark, and Mary.
Willis and Ruth Ann Penner had a birthday dinner Sunday for their granddaughter, Hannah Perry, on her 16th birthday. Others there included the Perry family of rural Hillsboro and the Leppke family of McPherson.
Norman and Dot Ensz had Easter Sunday dinner with Terry and Joni Ens and girls at Maize. Other family members also attended.
Wilbur and Florence Hett and Monroe and LaNorma Kreutziger had Sunday dinner at the Farm House Café at Abilene.
Paul and Arlene Pankratz, Tim and Donna Diener, Ken Pankratz, Mary Seibel, and Lowell and Eleanor Jost were among others from the Hillsboro area who attended funeral services Saturday for Elmer Seibel at First Mennonite Brethren Church at Wichita.
Clara and Alma Toews joined family for Sunday dinner to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Ensz. Others attending were the Galen Ensz family, Larry Ensz family, and Carol and Verna Ensz.
