Julie Arquello of Costa Rica spent two weeks with her parents, Bill and Betty Meier. While here, Betty, Julie, and Willabeth Gonzalez of Newton visited Betty's sister, Eunice Klein in Kansas City.

Liz Lancaster of Kansas City spent the weekend with her parents, Dave and Mary Lancaster.

Paul and Arlene Pankratz and Kent and Emily Nichols of Hesston were Sunday supper guests of Tim and Donna Diener at the Mexican restaurant to celebrate Kent's birthday. After supper they had ice cream and cake at the Pankratz home.

Durham Baptist Youth sponsored a benefit supper Sunday evening at the Baptist fellowship hall for Liz Lancaster of Kansas City. Many from the Hillsboro, Durham, Tampa, Lehigh, and Marion areas attended.

Coleen Weinbrenner went on a missions trip to California as a sponsor. They attended a youth conference at Anaheim and worked among the homeless in Los Angeles. Coleen's daughters, Audrey and Candace were among the Parkside church young people who went.

Virgil and Jean Oblander recently visited with Laura Chestnut at the hospital in Salina.

The Ensz family had a late Easter get-together Sunday for dinner at the Galen Ensz home near Hillsboro. Those attending were the Larry Ensz family, Marvin Ensz family, Carol and Verna Ensz, Alma and Clara Toews of Hillsboro, and Verlin and Arlin Toews of Moundridge.

Pearl Koch spent the weekend with the Tom Fleener family in El Dorado. Her granddaughter, Megan was one of the El Dorado High School students who were inducted into the National Honor Society.

Susan Clark of Redding, Calif., spent two weeks with the Jason and Rachel Mohn family.
