Duane and Shirley Hamm attended graduation exercises Saturday at Brown-Mackie College in Salina, where their daughter, Charlene Thiessen of McPherson, was one of the graduates who received a two-year degree in the field of nursing.
Merle and Darwin Gates of Hazelton visited Friday afternoon at the Duane Hamm home.
Melvin and Kathleen Wieting of South Dakota were weekend guests at the Ray Edwards home. The Wietings are Sherry's parents.
Willie and Ruth Ann Penner were Friday supper guests at the Paul Pankratz home.
Oliver and Frances Unruh and Beverly Elliott were Wednesday guests at the home of Tony and Lynette Mull in Newton to celebrate Marcus Mull's 11th birthday. Other guests were Jane Woodward and Irma and Brandon Unruh, all of Newton.
Willis and Ruth Ann Penner hosted a potato bar Saturday for Isaac and Pam Perry's birthdays. Others present were the Tom Perry family of rural Hillsboro, Stuart Leppkes of McPherson, and Amber Goossen of Bethel College.
Oliver and Marcella Mohn visited their grandchildren, Russel and Kara Haug at Park City Saturday afternoon.
Wayne and Carol Ollenburger attended the Central Christian Church in Wichita Sunday with Gerald Ollenburger of Wichita and C.J. and Jessie Brengman of Wichita. They enjoyed brunch then attended soccer games where the Ollenburgers' grandsons, Tyler, Austin, and Gordon Flores were participants.
