On Monday, Darlene Unruh was among others from Hillsboro who attended funeral services for Mrs. Edwin (Elva) Jantz at Roxbury. Mrs. Jantz was a former teacher in Durham and Grand Central. They lived in the Grand Central area before their retirement.

Berniece McDowell spent from Friday to Monday at the home of Brian and Shirley Lewis in Wichita.

On Sunday, Virgil and Jean Oblander visited Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Smith in McPherson.

Frances Unruh was Mildred Hanneman's guest Sunday evening at the Parkside ladies' salad supper.

James Isaac and sons from Wichita were weekend guests of Don and Connie Isaac. They celebrated Connie's birthday.

On Saturday morning, Agnes Steinert attended memorial services for John Moffitt from Washington at the Catholic church in Tampa. In the afternoon, she attended a bridal shower for Karly Klocksiem, bride-elect of Shawn Winter, at the community center in Durham. Bonnie Winter of Silver Lake, April Winter of Emporia, Ginger Robert of Marion, and Tanya Winter from Wichita were hostesses. Friends and relatives were guests.

Sunday morning, Agnes Mueller accompanied Gary Mueller to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Herington, and at noon, they joined the Bielefeld family for a reunion at the church fellowship hall.

On Wednesday, Agnes Steinert joined the Red Hat Society from Hillsboro and Marion area for lunch in Abilene.
