The family of the late Abe and Minnie Pankratz had a reunion in Newton on Sunday. Family there were Paul and Ruby Sjodin from Nebraska; Richard and Phyllis Pankratz and Kristi from Topeka; Herb and Truday Pankratz and Andrew from Abilene; Ron and Dora Unruh from Durham; Jim and Brenda Enns of Hillsboro; Jerry and Loretta Janzen, James and Beverly Buller, Geneive Buller from Enid, Okla.; Althea Zimmerman, Sam Zimmerman of Missouri; Carey and Darlene Burkhart and boys from Colorado; Lynn and Ruth Burkhart and family from New Mexico; Cynthia Leithoff and girls from Indiana; Jay and Luella Burkhart of Newton; Elmer and Dorothy Seibel from Newton; Gerald and Loreta Seibel and family from Kechi; David and Sherilyn Kadel from Randall; and Paul and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro.
Caleb Bettles spent a week with his grandparents, Keith and Pat Austin, and other family at Bucklin and Alyssa Bettles spent a week with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Austin, and son at Zenda.
Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa visited at the Paul Pankratzes Sunday evening.
Wilbur and Mildred Hanneman attended the Gideon banquet in Wichita Friday evening.
Lowell and Eleanor Jost and Eleanore's mother, Mary Seibel, were in Emporia and Mary visited with Frances Quintana and Lowell and Eleanore visited with other friends.
Wilbur and Florence Hett's granddaughter, Alexa Riffel, from Phillipsburg spent from Wednesday to Friday with her grandparents.
On Saturday, Marcella Mohn and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro, Frances Kreutziger from Marion, and Eleanor Esau from McPherson met their cousins Elfea Townsend and her daughter, Carolyn, and Lillian Dickens of Wichita in Newton and had lunch together at the Bread Basket.
Tim and Donna Diener and Emily were Sunday afternoon visitors at the home of Lonnie and Malinda Nickols, Kent and Kelsey at Phillipsburg.
On Thursday, Pearl Koch had evening dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Koch and Kimberly in Wichita.
On Sunday Virgil and Jean Oblander attended a Herdt reunion in Russell.
