The Schlehuber family had a reunion Saturday at the Scout House at Hillsboro. Hosts were Allen and Elma Schlehuber, and Merle and Marolyn Schlehuber and Maci. Other families who attended were Stan Harder and John and Carol Nickel of Inman; Natalie Nickel and Noah of Hutchinson; Dean Herbel of Newton; Jane Watts of Buhler; Lisa Smith, Corey, Cassity, and Caitlyn of Burrton; Brian and Amanda Watts; Brad and Christopher Snapp; Loren and Susan Harder, Tim, David, and Sarah; John Harder and Paul, Julie, and Sharon Schlehuber, all of Wichita.
Herb and Trudy Pankratz of Abilene were weekend guests of the Paul Pankratz family. Their son, Andrew, is a freshman at Tabor College, and they attended opening festivities at the college.
The Tim Dieners, Oliver Mohns, and the Paul Pankratzs of Hillsboro, the Gaylord Hamms of Durham, and the Jim Hamms of Tampa took ice cream and cake to the Gus Hamms of Tampa Thursday evening to celebrate Gus' birthday.
Betty Bernhardt accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krause and Pete Krause of Wichita to memorial services for Leroy Griswahl at Westlink Christian Church of Wichita. A number of the Faul cousins and other relatives and friends attended.
Betty Bernhardt and Hilda Seifert of Marion enjoyed supper at Marion Sunday evening.
Mary Helen Becker accompanied her daughter and husband, Dennis and Sherry Conyers of McPherson, to Kansas City Saturday to attend a birthday party for Mary Helen's great-grandson, Drew Trotter's fourth birthday. Drew is the Conyers' grandson.
Shirley Hamm and Lorene Kleiber of Hillsoro, Helen Costello, Dee Duggan, Adeline Bernhardt, and Leona Kleiber of Tampa celebrated the birthdays of Beryl Steiner, Bonnie Crandall, and Eleanor Herbel by having lunch together Friday at Hillsboro.
