Paul and Elaine Jantzen of Hillsboro and Bob and Ruth Unruh of Hutchinson hosted a joint Jantzen and Ensz family reunion held in September at the Scout House in Hillsboro. Approximately 60 people attended.

Judy Penner spent the weekend at Syracuse visiting her parents, Ernest and Frances Wright, and other family and friends.

Norman and Dot Ensz joined other family and friends at a birthday party for their granddaughter's, Staci, 12th birthday at the home of Dallas and Paula Jost. They also celebrated Jake Jost's ninth birthday.

Hank and Sharon Fast from Yucaipa, Calif., were recent visitors of Bonnie Fast. On Monday, Bonnie attended funeral services for Dorothy Berg in Marion.

Ken and LaVonne Wenrich from Atwood, Calif., came to Kansas for LaVonne's brother's, Loren Nuss, funeral. They spent a week with Lois and family.

Bob Whitney from Newton and Bill and Betty Meier of Hillsboro were in Kansas City and helped Betty's sister, Eunice Klein, celebrate her birthday.

Pearl Koch spent Thursday and Friday with the Tom Fleener family in El Dorado. She went especially to attend her granddaughter's, Megan, volleyball game Thursday evening.

Pearl Koch and Valorie Hampton were honored guests Wednesday at a birthday dinner at Olde Towne. Others there were Carol Ollenburger, Marilyn Geis, Betty Meier, Arlene Pankratz, Jane Miller, Frances Unruh, Lois Nuss, Mary Lancaster, Virginia Fadenrecht, and Shirley Hamm.

Oliver and Marcella Mohn, the Jason Mohn family, Ryan Haug, Gordon Mohn, Tim and Donna Diener, and Paul and Arlene Pankratz joined other family at the Gaylord Hamm home in Durham to celebrate Gaylord and Valera's birthdays. Other family there were the Jim Hamms and Gus Hamms from Tampa. They all enjoyed homemade ice cream and cake.
