Everett and Josie Eslinger of Canton and Jay and Luella Burkhart of Newton visited at the Paul Pankratz home Saturday afternoon.
Oliver and Marcella Mohn, Tim and Donna Diener, Jason and Rachel Mohn and family, and Gordon and Vicky Mohn attended a reception for Russel Haug at the Haug home in Park City Saturday afternoon. Russel graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in engineering.
Duane and Shirley Hamm attended church services at the First Baptist Church in McPherson Sunday. Their daughter, Charlene Thiessen was in the Cantate that was presented at the morning service. They were dinner guests at the Thiessen home and in the evening attended the Christmas program at the church in which their granddaughter participated.
Jerry and Joan Jost attended the Schmidt family Christmas dinner at the Peabody Baptist Church fellowship hall Sunday.
Clara and Alma Toews, Ron and Paula Toews and family of Hillsboro, and Ray and Phyllis Hiebert and family of Lehigh enjoyed a Mexican dinner at the home of Melvin and Joan Litwell on Sunday.
Clara and Alma Toews attended funeral services for Ruben Ensz who was in the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Inman, at the Zion Church on Monday.
Ruth Vanderwilt spent 10 days in Seattle, Wash., and Whitbney Island visiting her daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Maury Christensen and Julie and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ebbers.
Ruth Vanderwilt attended a party for her great-grandson, Emry Tippin's first birthday Saturday evening in Newton. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Tippin are his parents. Others there were Dr. and Mary Allen Tippin, Rachel and Eric of Elbing and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Klaassen of Sedgwick.
Jerry Schmidt of Salina is recuperating from surgery at KU Medical Center at the home of his parents, Malvin and Darlene Schmidt. Visitors since he is there were Art and Harriet Suderman and Jake and Mary Richert.
