On Saturday Agnes Steinert attended the wedding of her granddaughter Natalie Lana and Steve Marten at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Andale. She spent Saturday night with her son and wife Randy and Jan Steinert in Wichita. Other guests were Mitch and Angie Hergenreter and twin boys Tyler and Jake of Colorado.

Karen Haug of Jetmore spent a week with her parents, Oliver and Marcella Mohn.

Alexanderfeld Church, rural Hillsboro, completed two weeks of Bible school and on Sunday evening presented their closing program for the congregation.

Thursday visitors of Don and Connie Isaac were Edwin and Vonnie Klaassen from Santa Cruz, Calif., and Don and Mary Enns from Lincoln, Neb. They all toured the Frantz sights in the Hillsboro and Durham area directed by Raymond Wiebe. After the tour, they had lunch together at Olde Towne.

Irma Groening recently had a carry-in cookout with guests Jerry and Sheri Groening; Gordon and Shirley Groening; Justin and Tina Groening and Colton, Ali, and Tori; Ray and Jamie Helmer, all of Marion; and Chris and Matt Brenzikofer from Clay Center.

Weekend guests at the Paul Pankratz's were Jeff and Jennifer Price and Austin, and Jeff's mother Dianne Price from Arvada, Colo. They came especially to attend the wedding of Emily Diener, daughter of Tim and Donna Diener, and Kent Nichols, son of Lonnie and Melinda Nichols from Eureka. The wedding was as Parkview Church in Hillsboro.

Additional guests at the Pankratzes' during the weekend were Steve and LaDonna Fulmer of Buhler, former neighbors of the Prices in Colorado; David and Sherilyn Kadel from Randall; Corey and Holly Fessenden from Oklahoma City; and James and Beverly Buller from Enid, Okla.

On Sunday afternoon, Kara Bartell, now of Wichita, bride of Russ Haug, grandson of the Oliver Mohns, was the honored guest at a family bridal shower at the Oliver Mohn home hosted by Barbara Williams, Tulsa, Okla., Bonnie Winter, Silver Lake, and Myrna Hamm, Tampa.
