Round the Town: Bartel honored with birthday fondue meal

Kim Miller from Battle Ground, Wash., was a Thursday night and Friday guest at his parents, Duwane and Jane Miller. Pearl Koch was an additional Friday evening dinner guest.

Pam Bartel was honored Sunday on her birthday with a fondue meal at the home of Ryan and Tanya Bartel in Hesston. Other guests were Doug, Kelsey, and Kyle Bartel.

Tim, Sherry and Todd Goossen and the Myron Hamm family surprised their dad, Duane Hamm, for his birthday Monday evening. They brought ice cream and cake for the occasion.

Visitors at Pearl Koch's on Sunday were Marlin and Mildred Steinle of Lehigh and on Tuesday, Leonard and Luella Bartel of Marion called.

Oliver and Frances Unruh of Hillsboro and Tony, Lynette and Marcus Mull from Newton were Saturday evening supper guests of Beverly Elliott.

Weekend guests at the home of Kim and Delora Kaufman were Denny and Joshua Johnson of Auburn and Jesse and Anthony Kaufman from Hesston.

Oliver and Frances Unruh hosted a dinner for their daughter's, Beverly Elliot, Jan. 30 birthday. Other guests were Lynette and Marcus Mull and Sid and Brandon Unruh of Newton.

Saturday evening supper guests at the Tim Dieners for Emily's birthday were Truman Diener, Paul and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro and Kent Nikols form Eureka.

Sunday guests at the Paul Pankratzes for a family birthday dinner were Elmer and Dorothy Seibel of Wichita, Ken Pankratz of Durham, and Kent Nikols. The Gerald Seibel family from Kechi were unable to come because of illness.
