Round the town: Gross attends reunion in South Dakota

Celia Gross spent two weeks as a house guest of her sister, Ida Gross, at Sioux Fall, S.D. While there, she attended the 50th anniversary of her graduation from Freeman Academy at Freeman, S.D. Of the 27 graduates, 17 were present. She also attended the MCC Sale at Sioux Falls.

Saturday evening visitors at Hannah Ollenburger's home were her granddaughter, Gail King and Hannah's great-grandchildren, Megan and Jordon Smith and Alexia King from Kansas City, and Hannah's daughter, Pauline Harms of Hillsboro.

On Saturday morning, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ollenburger attended Edie's school reunion in Halstead. They were overnight guests of their friend and classmate, Mrs. Mary Janzen. On Sunday morning, four of the classes had breakfast together at the Red Coach Inn.

Paul and Elaine Jantzen's daughter, Kris Meyerson, and children, Madi and Jacob, were their house guests the first week of August. Kris' husband, Lars, joined them on Friday, and they attended Kris' 20th high school class reunion on Friday and Saturday. They left Sunday for their home in Houston, Texas.

Peter and Wendy Daniel and children, Rachel and Sarah, from London, England, are visiting Virgil and Jean Oblander in Hillsboro.

Sunday morning guests of Pearl Koch at the Durham Baptist Church were Jim and Donna Moore, Justin and Luke. The Moores are new residents in Hillsboro and Tabor College employees. Pastor Curtis and Connie Wiens joined them for lunch at Sheryl's Café in Canton.
