Round the town: Jury, Klein are birthday honorees

Matthew Riffel from Phillipsburg spent Thursday and Friday with his grandparents, Wilbur and Florence Hett, in Hillsboro.
Alma and Clara Toews of Hillsboro attended the 98th birthday open house for Henry W. Penner at Moundridge Manor on Saturday.
On July 28, Alma Toews attended the wedding of Dalton Wiebe and Lorna Koehn at the Morning Star Church near Durham.
Betty Meier and Agnes Bernhardt of Marion had dinner together on Wednesday. On Tuesday Willabeth Gonzales of Newton visited her parents, Bill and Betty Meier.
Kathy Jury and Elma Klein were honored guests for their birthdays on Wednesday at Olde Towne. Additional ladies there were Carol Ollenburger, Pearl Koch, Jane Miller, Betty Meier, Virginia Fadenrecht, Arlene Pankratz, Marcella Mohn and Shirley Hamm.
On Wednesday, Hannah Ollenburger accompanied Dean and Edie Ollenburger to York, Neb., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Pope.
On Saturday, Austin and Justin Hamm, Jack Peterson and Duane and Shirley Hamm were guests of Albert, Janet, Sarah and Andrew Christensen in Wichita. They helped Sarah celebrate her 13th birthday with bowling, water games, pizza and cake.
Sunday afternoon, Herb, Trudy and Andrew Pankratz from Abilene visited their father, Harry Pankratz, at Parkside Homes and Paul and Arlene Pankratz.
Guests at the home of Wayne and Carol Ollenburger from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon were their grandchildren Tyler, Austin and Jordon Flores from Wichita.
