Round the Town: Koch hosts birthday dinner for Millers

Mr. and Mrs. Don Isaac spent Saturday in Wichita with their son, James, and his sons.
The family of Rubena Bartel brought in Sunday dinner to celebrate her birthday. Family there were Ron and Loretta Paxton and Tyler and Dianne Ewert and girls from Wichita, Milford and Janell Klaassen and family, and Justina Klaassen from Hillsboro and Rubena's husband, Elgin.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hein announce the arrival of a great grandson on Feb. 4, 2003. Henry Daniel was born to Tony and Brandi Hein at Baldwin City. Leonard and Hazel spent the weekend with the new parents and baby.
Beryl Steiner accompanied Perry and Barb Steiner of Marion to the home show on Saturday in Wichita.
Pastor and Mrs. Henry Berg from Canada, former pastor at Durham Baptist Church, visited at Pearl Koch's Thursday afternoon. Other callers to see them were Oliver and Marcella Mohn, Oliver and Frances Unruh, Carol Ollenburger, Elma Klein, all of Hillsboro, and Willis Herbel of Tampa.
Eugene and Beryl Steiner's granddaughter, Amanda Steiner, of Marion received a first place gold medal at a recent forensics meet.
Jenny Medley and children from Topeka spent last weekend with Betty Medley. Terry was on guard duty in Emporia.
Pearl Koch hosted a birthday dinner Saturday evening for Duwane and Jane Miller's Feb. 15 birthdays. Additional guests were Elma Klein, Duane and Shirley Hamm and Paul and Arlene Pankratz.
