Round the Town: Lutheran women host fall workshop

The LWML Zion Lutheran women hosted the fall workshop for area churches Oct. 22 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

Richard and Phyllis Pankratz from Topeka visited Friday at the Paul Pankratz home.

Mary Helen Becker accompanied Kent and Ginger Becker of Durham and Todd Becker of Marion to Oklahoma over the weekend to visit at the home of Larry and Tammy Meysing and boys.

Archie and LeDora Kliewer from Fruita, Colo., were recent visitors at the home of Delia Deckert.

Norma and Dot Ensz recently traveled by Amtrak to California to attend a family reunion at Laughlin. They also visited Dots brother and wife, Leonard and JoAnn Janzen at Yuma, Ariz., cousins at Los Angeles, and cousins at Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Bob and Irma Meisinger of Marion and cousins from Abilene met them for the reunion.

Paul and Chrystal Aimsworth and boys from Rogers, Ark., were weekend guests at Beverly Elliott's and Oliver and Frances Unruh. They all had Sunday dinner at the Oliver Unruhs.

Tim and Donna Diener and Paul and Arlene Pankratz visited Oct. 23 at the home of Kent and Emily Nichols in Hesston.

Lowell and Betty Bergman from Shafter, Calif., have been recent visitors at the home of Don and Connie Isaac and other family and friends in the Hillsboro and Hutchinson area.

Oliver and Marcella Mohn hosted a birthday supper for Rachel Mohn the evening of Oct. 26. Guests were Jason and Rachel Mohn and family, Gordon and Vicky Mohn from Hillsboro, Ryan Haug and Risa Fadenrecht from Tabor College, and Russel and Kara Haug from Wichita.

Pearl Koch was a Tuesday evening visitor at the Paul Pankratzs.
