Round the Town: Texas family visit Janzens

Judy Penner spent the weekend at Syracuse visiting her mother Frances Wright and other family and friends.
Kris Meyerson, Madison, and Jacob from Kemah, Texas, spent the weekend with Kris' parents, Paul and Elaine Jantzen.
Milford and Janelle Klaassen and family and Janelle's mother, Louise Schmidt, from Goessel vacationed in the South Dakotas where they visited their niece Kara Schmidt at Swan Lake Christian Camp. They also did some sightseeing.
Don and Connie Isaac spent the weekend at St. Joseph, Mo., with Lance and Christy Zimmerman and Aidan. They helped Christy celebrate her birthday.
Bernice McDowell accompanied Jerry and Mary Schmidt to Wichita on Saturday where they attended the wedding of Bernice's grandson, Nick Mulligan, and Miriam McQuire at St. Aquonia Catholic church. Chris and Terry Frantz and Mitchell and Jessica Frantz of Hillsboro also attended.
On Sunday evening, Duane and Shirley Hamm attended her brother and wife's, Dee and Venita Waggoner, 50th wedding anniversary reception at the Faith Bible Baptist Church in Valley Center.
Tom and Patty Mitchell from Florida and Barbara Ollek from Arizona visited in Hillsboro with Betty Medley and their mother, Frieda Birkle.
Recent visitors at the Bonnie Fast home in Hillsboro were Phillip and Inge Fast from Sacramento, Calif.
Bill and Betty Meier accompanied by Willabeth Gonzales and Bob Whitney of Newton attended the Geis family reunion on Saturday at Cherokee, Okla.
Guests at the Paul Pankratzes Saturday evening for homemade ice cream and cake were Tim and Donna Diener, Emily and Marissa of Hillsboro, Kent Nicholas from Eureka, Truman Diener, also of Hillsboro, and Ken Pankratz from Durham. They celebrated Tim's birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Frederick and Amy from Tucson, Ariz., and Pearl Koch had lunch together in Tampa. Mark Bandrey, former Hillsboro resident, from Delaware, Ohio, was a recent visitor at Pearl Koch's.
