Ruben Kliewer
Ruben Kliewer, 85, died Nov. 12, 2006, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born May 31, 1921, at Hillsboro, he was the son of William and Mary (Bartel) Kliewer.
On May 19, 1946, he married Rosalie Fast at Fairview, Okla.
He was a dairy farmer and member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie of Hillsboro; three sons, Myron Kliewer of Thailand and Duane Kliewer and Daryl Kliewer, both of Hillsboro; daughter, Janice Hopkins of Centennial, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at French Creek Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Dave Plett and Pastor Myron Kliewer officiating.
A memorial fund has been established with Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
