Ruth Mosiman
Ruth Mosiman, 80, died May 12, 2006, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
Born March 21, 1926, near Benton, she was the daughter of Cliff and Ruth (Hoerman) Winkle.
On June 3, 1945, she married Freddie Mosiman. The couple farmed near Peabody for nearly 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Thelma Hainline; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie of Newton; three daughters, Goyia Riddiough of Newton, Norma Gritz of Enid, Okla., and Laurie Harris of Jefferson City, Okla.; two sons, LeRoy Mosiman of Peabody and Freddie Mosiman III of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at First Missionary Church, Newton, with Pastors Ray Adams and Dan Quinlin officiating.
Burial was in First Missionary Church Cemetery, Elbing.
A memorial fund was established with First Missionary Building Fund.
