Ruth Wenger, 90, died April 30, 2008, at Salem Nursing Home, Hillsboro.
Born Aug. 27, 1917, at Lehigh, she was the daughter of G.H. and Helena (Klassen) Warkentin.
In September 1938, she married Norman Wenger at Lehigh. He died in 1997. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Wenger.
She was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include a son, Cecil Wenger of Manhattan; two daughters, Jeanenne Koslowsky of Mesa, Ariz., and Beverly Pack of Athens, Ala.; three sisters, Mary Thiessen and Helen Thiessen, both of Hillsboro, and Lydia McDonald of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Dave Plett officiating. Private burial services were conducted.
A memorial fund has been established with Salem Nursing Home.
