Seibel family holds reunion
The children of the late Jacob and Anne (Wall) Seibel met for a reunion on Aug. 10, 2002, in Wichita. A meal was served at noon at the Home Town Buffet. After the meal the group gathered at the Minisa Park in the afternoon for visiting and picture taking. Some also enjoyed the kayaks and canoe on the water nearby.
Family members attending were Elmer and Dorothy Seibel of Wichita and their children, Gerald and Loreta Seibel and Jessica, Jacob, and Julie, all of Kechi; and Marty and Leora Schneider and Vance of Milford, Neb.
Alfred and Lucere Thiessen of Fredonia and their son, Larry and Connie Thiessen and Amber of Galva also attended.
Clarence and Mary Seibel of Hillsboro and their children, Gene Seibel and Becca Sipe of Springfield, Mo., and a friend, Sue Meintrup of St. Louis, Mo., and Lowell and Eleanor Jost, Amber, Logan and Karis, of Hillsboro also attended.
Others attending were Tami (Seibel) Reimche of Chanute and Allen Sharp of Fredonia; Wallace and Dolly Seibel of Wichita and sons, Steven and Gregory Seibel; Frances Quintana of Emporia and her daughters, Karla Hammond of Carthage, Mo., and friend Terry, and Rod and Jane Haag and Anthony of Emporia; Homer and Goldie Seibel of Arkansas City and their sons, Ron and David Seibel and friend Sue.
Others who spent time with the Seibels were Betty Freuchting, Bonnie Friesen, Robert and Lynn Suderman, and Lewis and LaVada Hagen.
