Selma Frantz
Selma Frantz, 88, Hillsboro, died March 17, 2002, at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
Born Oct. 10, 1913, near Durham, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Helena (Smith) Unruh.
A retired missionary and teacher, she was married to Cornelius B. Frantz, Nov. 1, 1981, near Durham. He died in 1984.
She was a member of Central Heights Mennonite Church, near Durham, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Survivors include sons, Robert Frantz of McPherson, Richard Frantz of Custer, S.D., and Norman Frantz of Mulvane; one brother, Roland Unruh of Walton; two sisters, Bertha Goentzel of Hillsboro and Ellagene Buller of Lovina, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pastor Edwin R. Stucky will be the officiating clergyman.
Burial will be in Peace Valley Cemetery, near Durham.
Visitors will be welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
