Those honored at the February birthday dinner on Monday at the senior center were Linda Jantz, Ivan Weibert, Frank Wiens, Frank Peters, David Krause, Mildred Jantz, and Elma Warkentin. The afternoon was spent playing bingo.
Hillsboro seniors boarded vans today to attend the matinee and lunch at the Crown Uptown theatre to see the performance of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."
On Monday Mary McFadden, RN, will be available for foot care and taking blood pressures. Appointments are needed for foot care.
On Wednesday, after the meal at the center, a video concerning driving during road construction will be viewed. "Getting past the Orange Barrels" gives tips on driving while the road is being repaired.
Those who volunteered their time at the senior center this week included: Kitchen — Nellie Jost, Phyllis Neuenschwander, Irma Groening, Irma Koop, Ethelda Lemon, Kim Friesen, Lydia Pankratz, Mariann Unruh, and Fern Unruh; Meal delivery — Jim Brennan, Bud Buller, and Paul Ediger; FISH transportation — Betty Bernhardt, Gladys Schmidt, and Ray Matz.
