Senior Soundings

Dr. Zafar will see hearing patients at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. The program will be provided by the Butler County art class for senior citizens. The class will display art work.
At 2:30 p.m. on Friday, the men's coffee will be held at the center. There will be games, coffee, goodies, and conversation for all.
Last week, Jeanne Rzhia, R.N., spoke on Tuesday about some practical thoughts on diabetes. On Thursday, the center showed a video, "Just Five Minutes on Weight Control."
An overnight bus trip was taken on June 11-12 to Bartlesville, Okla., and points of interest along the way.
Those who volunteered at the senior center last week were: Kitchen — Kim Friesen, Norma Cabeen, Nellie Jost, Irma Groening, Irma Koop, Malinda Suderman, Esther Pankratz, Elaine Leppke, Phyllis Neuenschwander, Frieda Birkle. Meal delivery — Paul Ediger, Ray Matz, Harold Pankratz, Pearl Hadley, Ken Buller. FISH transportation — Albert Fadenrecht, Dave Classen, Gladys Schmidt, Malinda Suderman, Elvina Ediger.
